I was never a big fan of the Foo Fighters having heard their most popular songs for the last few years but after listening to this album, it got me hooked. This release contains a wide variety of rock songs from hard rock, rock, pop rock and the acoustic, the style changes often to make the whole package more interesting to listen in one sitting.
Every album has at least one stand out track that gets lots of airplay but although Echoes contains a few great tracks, it is best to appreciate the album in its entirety. In brief, it is a very good rock album with a few face melter moments, something which I have not felt as of late.
